Topic: The Abandoned Northwest – the Bela Rechka case

OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS AND IDEAS: DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 20, 2011

Why we leave our homes? What would we do with an abandoned deserted house?
What an abandoned home tells us? Should we destroy it? Or keep it? How? The abandoned deserted houses are often seen in Northwestern Bulgaria and constantly provoke our senses. How to live with that? Could we influence and change this view? How?
This year the topic of the festival focuses on this painful problem through the Bela Rechka case. We intend to see it interdisciplinary

and announce a CALL FOR PROPOSALS AND IDEAS:

For visual artists, painters, graphic designers, architects, garden and landscape designers, interior and light designers, film and documentary directors, photographers - to present their ideas, project plans, dreams, conceptions and practical solutions to the following question:

WHAT WOULD I DO IF THIS ABANDONED HOUSE WAS MINE?
