Dance with elements
Dance improvisation and body consciousness workshop
with Agnieszka Cwielag
Air – breath (mental facility)
Fire – transformation and passion (heart)
Water – fluidity and motion (emotional body)
Earth – grounding and roots (physical body)
Working with elements allows to touch on our inner energies that give us life and find their representation in our body constitution and movement. During the workshop we will try to explore qualities of all elements in our movement but also to connect with nature, something beyond us and at the same time one with us. Through movement we will explore and discover our individual expression within each of the elements, we will observe, which one is predominant, which needs to be strengthened, how can we derive form all of them and how to balance them.
In this special time of harvesting and thankfulness, we will reconnect with our own body and nature and all that, which is nourishing us. We will dance our dance of thankfulness.
Workshop is addressed to anybody, who would like to experience free expression in dance and movement and to deepen a connection with own’s body and nature.
No prior experience in dance or movement is required. Please, bring comfortable cloths for moving. We will work in bare feet. If possible we might also work outdoors.
